Spark of Green was created to help the community here in Monroe, WA learn about and connect to recycling programs.
Even if you have a recycling service that collects items at your home, not all items are accepted. Furthermore, not all collected items meet the guidelines and can compromise the entire batch.
Many facilities do not realize that there are methods to recycle that do not involve a monthly/quarterly service.
Therefore, Spark of Green’s mission is to educate all those who recycle, reach out to local businesses to see how they are participating in helping the environment, and help connect people with solutions.

Learn about recycling.
What can be recycled, how to recycle properly, and ways to be greener.
(Please keep in mind this site is young and under construction.)
