Drop-Off Availability.

The following days are available for the public to drop off hard-to-recycle items. Please keep in mind this is a residential location, so drive slow and be courteous. See the lists below for common items and important information.

  • Home cleaning products (empty & non-aerosol)

  • Old toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, floss containers, and mouthwash bottles

  • Used makeup containers

  • Deodorant containers

  • Plastic razors and cartridges

  • Contact lenses and blister packs

  • Broken toys

  • Styrofoam (clean and dry)

  • Sauce packets

  • Batteries (household only, no lithium-ion)

  • Snack bags and wrappers

  • Old worn towels and clothing (clean)

  • Small office supplies

  • Plastic cutlery and solo-type cups

  • Books & Magazines that can’t be donated elsewhere

Absolutely NONE of the following can be accepted:

  • Soiled diapers or items

  • Glass

  • Lightbulbs

  • Lithium-ion batteries

  • Aerosol cans

  • Biomedical waste & sharps

  • Oil based paint & pesticides

  • Organics

  • Medication of any type

Spark of Green is currently listed on TerraCycle as a drop off point for the following programs:
