Plastics
Can all plastics be put in the recycle bin?
No. Some thin plastics (like shopping bags and plastic wrap) can jam equipment. Plastic cutlery is also not accepted in your curbside bin, yet can be recycles through Terracycle. Dirty items will contaminate batches of recycling and cause it to be thrown into the trash.
